  1. I would love to be able to attend this conference! Funds are tight right now so I cannot get a ticket but I would love to be able to come!!

  2. I am throwing a birthday party on Saturday for my sweet kids, but I have a friend that would love a chance to go to the conference!

  3. I’ve been feeling the need to reconnect with birth-minded community for a while, and this conference would be perfect to fulfill such need. We also are planning to move in the next couple of months (to NE) so I’d love to take an advantage of attending this particular event while I can. Why free ticket? Well, I don’t feel like I can say that I desperately need one or I won’t be able to attend. Because I will buy a ticket if I need to. But with moving expenses coming up, we are trying to be extra careful with our finances right now 🙂

  4. In January 2012, I lost my fourth baby, Taylor, at a mere 13 weeks gestation. Many people wait until 12 weeks to announce a pregnancy “just in case” and this was past that point. I felt the desire to be pregnant again right away. And it happened for us! As weeks came and went, 13 weeks approached and I became very scared and nervous. However, time kept ticking and all was well. I had a check up at 15 weeks and all was well. I scheduled my “big” gender-reveal anatomy scan ultrasound for 19 weeks. That’s when I found out we lost our fifth baby, Seth, 3 weeks earlier at 16 weeks gestation.

I am now pregnant again and planning my third home birth. I’m 32 weeks along and still terrified. Embracing a FEARLESS birth has been on my mind so much. I would really love to attend this conference as I prepare for the most fearful birth I’ve experienced.

  5. My first 2 boys were born via unplanned c-sections. 2 years ago I gave birth to a beautiful 9 pound baby girl via vaginal birth after cesarean, for unknown reasons she didn’t breathe at birth & died after 27 hours in the NICU. TGOGL was a comforting read during my recent pregnancy where I brought our second (healthy!!!), precious little girl in to this world also via VBA2C. I experienced a beautiful birth, where for the first time out of 4 children, I got to immediately hold & see the amazing gift God had blessed me with. Unfortunately, the last few moments before she was born I also experienced a partial placental abruption that was terrifying to go through, especially given my previous loss. I know more children are meant for our family but I don’t feel like there is a “right” way to get them here anymore. I’d give anything to go in to a 5th pregnancy “empowered & fearless”. I also would like to give back to the birth community but given my personal experiences I feel like I need to a lot more positive, reassuring interactions with birth topics & this conference could be a baby step towards that.

Oh but you should totally give Ginger a free ticket. She’s an amazing lady:)

  6. I would love to win a ticket to the fearless birth event. I went last year and cried as I watched the birth films! Would love to go again.

  7. I had a full-term stillbirth a few months ago and am really hoping to go to this conference especially for the classes on coping with loss and healing past birth trauma. We just had a last minute trip out to Salt Lake last week, so don’t have as much in our budget to try going out there again this week…A free ticket would certainly help!

  8. Thank you all for sharing your reasons why you want to go to this conference. I can see that so many of you deserve a free ticket. I wish I had 10 to give away. Cadence is our winner, but I hope the others of you are able to come too. Hugs!
    Sheridan
